As Performance Responsible, you are the first point of contact for all performance-related topics for your product. This role offers a diverse range of questions and queries. On a typical day, you might support a sales project in Thailand, discuss model updates with tool developers before lunch, and then collaborate with the service team to support a customer in South America in the afternoon. We work as a cohesive team, supporting each other and sharing the workload through visual planning sessions twice a week.
How You’ll Make an Impact
You will be the go-to expert for questions regarding the performance for SGT-700. Your role will include, but not be limited to:
Performance analysis and modelling
Evaluate engines, both in the field and in the test beds
Working with service upgrades, customer demands, service inquiries and fault reports
Supporting sales and order execution to ensure competitiveness and customer satisfaction
Actively contributing to R&D projects
Monitoring engines in the field and collecting data for follow up, closing the loop towards other areas within R&D
What You Bring
M.Sc within engineering or equivalent proven work experience within gas turbine performance.
Strong knowledge of thermodynamics and gas turbine theory. Previous work experience in gas turbine performance is highly valued.
Proficiency in English, both verbally and written
Takes pride in doing your work well and bringing a positive approach.
You are solutions oriented, enjoys making calculations and are motivated by the challenge of solving technical questions.
An interest for getting a broad network of contacts and working with people from many different areas and backgrounds.
About the Team
You will join the MGT (Medium Gas Turbines) Performance department, where we specialize in the analysis and modelling of steady-state and transient performance of MGT products. We are also the competence center for studies of new thermodynamic cycles.
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
